Asian cats come in over 600 variations of coat patterns and colours originating from a cross between a Chinchilla cat and a Burmese and are bred back to Burmese to improve the `type` or appearance of the cat, naturally they also have many Burmese characteristics and are extremely friendly and intelligent cats.
The Asian Tiffany (not to be confused with the American Tiffanie breed) is a semi long haired version and comes in all colours but with a flowing beautiful silky shimmering coat which thank goodness requires no more maintenance than its short hair cousin, being virtually tangle free.
